US woman 'plotted' ISIS-inspired attack on NY capitol and kill senators

A 35-year-old Albany woman has been charged with attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State after allegedly plotting to bomb the New York State Capitol and kill lawmakers.

Jessica Bowie was arrested on Aug 19 after taking possession of what she believed were an explosive device and a handgun, according to a criminal complaint.
