Two senior immigration officers among five charged with smuggling migrants

Two senior immigration officers and three others were charged in the Johor Baru Sessions Court on Thursday (July 16) for allegedly smuggling eight Indonesian migrants last month.

Deputy director Noryati Abu Bakar, 50, and senior officer Haris Fadzilah Abu Bakar, 48, were attached to the Pasir Gudang Immigration Department office.
