A female employee at a Pokémon merchandise shop was fatally stabbed in Tokyo on Thursday (March 26), while the suspected assailant also died after stabbing himself.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department said the woman, in her 20s, was attacked around 7:16 p.m at the Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo in the Sunshine City shopping mall.
