NYPD marks 25 years since 9/11 with memorial wall unveiling

The New York Police Department (NYPD) on Wednesday (Sept 9) unveiled a new 9/11 memorial wall honoring its officers, with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch attending the ceremony.

Located at NYPD headquarters in downtown Manhattan, the wall provides a place for relatives, fellow officers and members of the public to pay tribute to officers killed on Sept 11, 2001, and in the years since.
