A 28-year-old woman who police said fatally shot 3 children and 3 adults Monday (March 27) at a private school in Nashville, Tennessee had drawn detailed maps of the school, including entry points for the building, and left behind a "manifesto" that investigators were examining, Nashville Police Chief John Drake said at an evening news briefing.

Drake identified the suspect, who was killed by police, as a woman by the name of Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, a resident of the Nashville area and identified as transgender.
