Modi's visit to bring positive spillover to tourism, economy, says Fahmi

The recent official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Malaysia has delivered positive outcomes for trade, tourism, and the economy, said government spokesperson Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, Fahmi added that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, while chairing Friday’s Cabinet meeting, updated ministers on the visit’s outcomes, which included the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) highlighting the strong ties between Malaysia and India.
