White House says value of the US dollar is 'great,' currency hits four-year low

The US dollar was sliding as it struggled near four-year lows on Jan 28, already down by about 2.3% in January, but the US administration brushed off the currency's weakness, saying that investments are flowing into the United States at record levels.
