Umno's Seberang Perai councillor quits over remarks about DAP

Permatang Pauh Umno division chief Datuk Mohd Zaidi Mohd Said has resigned as a Seberang Perai city councillor over remarks he made about DAP at the recent Umno general assembly.

His resignation took effect on Sept 14, according to a letter made public by state local government committee chairman Jason H’ng Mooi Lye on Wednesday (Sept 16).
