Umno nominates Saarani as Perak MB

Perak Umno chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad said he has delivered a letter on behalf of Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to the Sultan of Perak over their agreement to form the state government with Bersatu and PAS.

Saarani said in the letter, it also nominates him as the Mentri Besar candidate.

He adds all 25 Umno assemblymen have signed a statutory declaration to support the candidate.
