Umno honours Muafakat pact, even offered PAS two extra seats in Melaka polls, says Tok Mat

Umno has always honoured the Muafakat Nasional pact and even offered two additional seats to PAS during the 2021 Melaka election, says Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

The Umno deputy president said that after visiting the state Barisan Nasional’s election machinery centre in Ayer Keroh on Sunday (August 21), adding that PAS wanted a new political partner and refused to cooperate despite being offered a total of five seats.

Mohamad Hasan also brushed aside talk that Barisan would not be ready to face GE15 if Parliament was dissolved soon.
