Two youths nabbed for smuggling cannabis buds via courier in Johor

Two youths have been separately detained for attempting to smuggle cannabis buds using courier services, with the drugs disguised as household items such as towels and curtains.

Johor Customs Department director Aminul Izmeer Mohd Sohaimi said one case involved a 21-year-old man at a forwarding company, while in the other case, a parcel declared as towels led to the arrest of a 23-year-old Filipino factory worker in Johor Baru.
