A two-year-old girl remains in intensive care at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Baru, after five stray dogs attacked her outside her grandparents' house in Batu Pahat last Saturday.

Her father has appealed to the public to stop sharing graphic photos of her injuries.

Authorities are racing to capture the dogs for rabies testing, and the state government will cover the girl's medical costs.
