The Chingay Festival in JB will go on

The Johor Baru Tiong Hua Association will carry on having the Chingay Festival this year despite the state government’s advice on having mass event postponed in light of the noval coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.

Its president Ho Sow Tong however stressed that the parade, which would mark its 150th year, will be scaled down to ensure the public’s health.
