Stern measures will be taken against leaders who misuse powers, says PM

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says his administration will ensure that stern measures will be taken against the country's top leadership to avoid misuse of power.

Anwar also said that he wants to erase the image of Malaysia that is linked to disharmony among different races and religions as well as graft scandals.

He said this during a buka puasa ceremony at Masjid Ahmadi in Klang on Wednesday (April 19).
