State governments must refer to the Federal Government and the National Security Council (MKN) before making decisions on Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs), says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Defence Minister said that on Tuesday, adding that states may face difficulty enforcing certain laws that were not gazetted by the Federal Government, and its decisions could also be challenged in court.
