Seven arrested over chaos during Kampung Sungai Baru eviction

An organisation leader was among seven individuals detained following a commotion during an eviction of 26 landowners covering 37 terrace houses in Kampung Sungai Baru.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus said the suspects, all men aged between 15 and 52, were arrested in connection with the incident.

He told a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur Traffic police headquarters on Friday (Sept 12) at night.
