School children and teachers will be equipped with financial literacy, says PM

In his speech when officiating Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) in Penang on Sunday (Oct 1), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said some teachers would be equipped with financial literacy to impact the knowledge of students at school.

He said it is important to instill literacy and awareness about financial matters to children in school as it will teach them to be more responsible in the future.
