Saifuddin: Rantau Panjang congestion seasonal, border control agencies told to manage

All border control agencies have been instructed to stand by to facilitate congestion at the country's entry points, including the Customs, Immigration, Quarantine (CIQ) complex in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, especially during weekends.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said on Friday (Jan 27) when asked to comment on the massive congestion at Rantau Panjang CIQ caused by travel and tourism activities between Malaysia and Thailand, adding that the congestion at CIQ Rantau Panjang is seasonal.
