Remembering 9/11: World mourns victims, families call for accountability

New Yorkers and Americans from near and far gathered at three major locations in the US, namely the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York, Pentagon's courtyard in Arlington and Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville on Sept 11 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

The widow of a victim criticised Saudi Arabia, saying "administration after administration" had chosen to protect the kingdom over its role in the attacks.
