Reduction of Penang debt due to water deal with federal govt, says Gerakan

Penang Gerakan has reminded the state government led by DAP that the reduction of state debt came from a water asset restructuring agreement with the Federal Government. The party’s treasurer in Penang Ng Fook On said it was misleading to claim that the state debt is the lowest among all states due to DAP’s good financial management.
