Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Malaysians to reject racial extremism and religious fanaticism, warning that such attitudes could undermine the nation’s unity and stability.
Delivering his Malaysia Day 2025 address in Butterworth, Penang, on Tuesday (Sept 16), Anwar said extremism poses a threat to Malaysia’s political and economic foundations, and must be firmly avoided to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and independence.
