Penang legislative assembly cut short by MCO, state doesn’t need to impose enhanced measures

The Penang legislative assembly convened its meeting on Friday, which lasted for about an hour-and-a-half - the shortest in its history.

Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow told the lawmakers that the state government does not need to declare an enhanced movement control order in the state as the Covid-19 situation is still under control.
