NZ mosque shooter seeks to overturn conviction, victims' families hit out at him

Brenton Tarrant, 35, who killed 51 Muslim worshippers at two mosques in New Zealand seven years ago said on Feb 9 that he was irrational when he pleaded guilty as he sought to overturn his conviction in court.

Some family members of the victims of the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings expressed displeasure, saying that Tarrant had shown no remorse at all.
