Najib’s pardon application deferred to future board meeting

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's pardon application has been deferred to a future Federal Territories Pardons Board meeting, the legal affairs division of the Prime Minister's Office said on Friday (Sept 11).

His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, who chairs the board, also consented to the release of 65 prisoners.
