MP urges Malaysia to follow developed nations in emergency preparedness

Malaysia must strengthen its emergency preparedness before essential supplies are disrupted, says Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin (PN-Masjid Tanah).

Citing geopolitical conflicts and growing global uncertainties, she urged the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) and National Security Council to develop a comprehensive national preparedness plan covering war, food and energy supply disruptions, and cyberattacks.
