More bins, cleaner festival: Batu Caves ready for Thaipusam

The management of the Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves has stepped up cleanliness measures by increasing the number of rubbish bins, following the public littering ban that came into effect on Jan 1.

Sri Mahamariamman Devasthanam Temple Trustee Datuk N Sivakumar said the initiative aims to keep the area clean and orderly throughout the festival.
