Malaysia, Egypt to expand education ties beyond islamic studies, says Anwar

Malaysia and Egypt are looking to expand educational cooperation beyond Islamic studies to include engineering, medicine, electrical and electronics (E&E), digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI), says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking during a joint press conference with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Saturday (Oct 10), Anwar also called for closer defence cooperation, including joint training and collaboration on defence needs.
