Maha 2028 to be bigger, more vibrant following this year’s success, says Mat Sabu

The Agriculture and Food Security Ministry will begin early preparations for Maha 2028 to improve planning, coordination and visitor experience, with plans to make the exhibition bigger, more engaging and innovative.

Speaking at the Maha 2026 Appreciation Ceremony on Thursday (Oct 15), Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said the ministry’s increased allocation under Budget 2027 reflected continued government support for strengthening national food security and ensuring the long-term sustainability of agriculture.
