The total loss of the two classrooms destroyed in a fire at SMK Pasir Gudang 3, Taman Air Biru, is estimated to be around RM1mil.

Johor education, information, heritage and culture committee chairman Mazlan Bujang said that after inspecting the affected building on Tuesday, adding that the school would not be closed down due to the fire.
