Hong Kong sees biggest protests since democrats' election boost

Thousands of black-clad protesters from all walks of life marched in Hong Kong on Sunday (December 8) under a crisp blue sky to march for human rights and democratic reforms in the financial hub.

This was seen as the largest anti-government protests since local elections last month that boosted the pro-democracy movement seeking to curb controls by China.
