Good demand for Yasothon's fermented fish

The town of Yasothon in Northeastern Thailand is famous for producing fermented fish, which is a staple food in the province. Traders use a species of freshwater carp which is cleaned, gutted and deboned. It will be pickled with choice ingredients for 10 days before being sold at US$3.50 a kilogramme.
