Fruit seller detained for insulting Tunku Mahkota of Johor

A 31-year-old man was detained at his house in Ayer Hitam Sunday night, in connection with a video clip containing vile and insulting words against the Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, which went viral.

Johor police chief Commissioner Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the man, an assistant fruit seller, was detained after he uploaded the video on Instagram.
