Former UPP commander charged with graft

Shahidan Ladin, a former commander of Bukit Kayu Hitam Anti-Smuggling Unit was charged with three counts of corruption for allegedly accepting RM4,500 four years ago as inducement to not take action against an individual allegedly involved in petrol smuggling across the Malaysia-Thai border.
