Ex-headmaster charged with CBT involving RM35,500 in Penang

A former headmaster at SK Wellesley was slapped with eight counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving cash amounting to RM35,500.

Chan Thye Choon, 61, was accused of misappropriating the money between November 2015 and March 2017.

The accused is alleged to have committed CBT involving the rental payment of the school field by knowingly abusing property entrusted to him.
