Elephant scavenges for food at army base in Perak

The Perak Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) has confirmed that an elephant had encroached on an army camp, as seen in videos shared on Facebook.

Its director Yusoff Shariff said the wild animal was able to enter the Sri Banding Camp in Gerik possibly due to a faulty electrical fence.
