Dogs are pets, not food - Part 1

For some people, dogs are more than just pets. They are like family. However, pet poaching is rampant across cities in Indonesia. In Solo, Central Java, there are hundreds of food stalls serving dog meat in their main dishes. The World Organization for Animal Health has declared that dogs are not included as livestock.
This is the first part of three video/ web series produced through a partnership between The Jakarta Post and Kompas TV.
