'Different sound' coming from fighter jet prior to crash, says eyewitness

There was a "different sound" coming from the Hawk 108 jet fighter before it crashed at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Butterworth, says an eyewitness.

"We have been staying here for a long time and we know the type of sounds coming from an aircraft. This time, it sounded different from the usual," said 44-year-old Mastura Mohd Noordin.
