Penang police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain on Wednesday (April 20) said the escaped detainees who broke out of the immigration detention depot in Kedah seem to be heading south.

He added that based on police observation, the escapees were barefooted and moving in large groups.
