Cops nab 16, seize RM2.5mil in cash from prostitution syndicate

Close to a whopping RM2.5mil in cash was seized from a raid on Saturday on a house used by a prostitution syndicate in Cheras.

Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said police detained 14 Chinese nationals, comprising 11 men and three women, along with a local man and woman from two raids related to the case.

Comm Huzir said the syndicate targets customers in China for their prostitution services as well as some scams.
