Cops: Lift attack on Down Syndrome man sparked by old squabble

An old misunderstanding is said to be the reason why a 33-year-old man with Down Syndrome was scalded with hot water by a woman in a Bayan Lepas apartment building lift last Friday (April 19).

Balik Pulau OCPD Supt Kamarul Rizal Jenal said on Monday (April 22) after the handing over of duties ceremony for the new Penang police chief at state police headquarters.
