Cops get court order prohibiting demos in KL on Saturday

Police have obtained a seven-day court order to prohibit demonstrations at Dataran Merdeka, Sogo and Masjid Jamek.

Six major roads and 25 trains stations will also be closed on Saturday (Jan 22).

The move came following a planned demonstration on Saturday to demand action against Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.
