Concerns raised over hill clearing in Paya Terubong, Penang

A non-governmental organisation has raised concerns over the hill clearing near the Paya Terubong Paired Road, calling it a “very serious environmental damage”.
Penang People’s Association chairman Datuk Huan Cheng Guan said he visited the hill slope and was shocked to see that much of the area has been cleared.
