Anwar: Scouting builds character, prepares youth for future

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the Scout movement plays a key role in shaping disciplined, service-minded youth who can contribute to society and the country.

Speaking at the opening of the 15th Malaysian National Scout Jamboree (MYJAM15) at Penang State Stadium on Saturday (Aug 29), Anwar, who is also Chief Scout of the Scouts Association of Malaysia, said scouting goes beyond uniforms and outdoor activities, helping build character and prepare youth for the future.

He also said the participation of international scouts promotes cultural exchange, shared experiences and mutual understanding.
