Zuraida says on 'standby' to meet PM, expects it to happen this week

"I am on standby to meet with the Prime Minister," says Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.

The Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister said this on Tuesday (June 7) when asked to comment about her position in the Cabinet, and reiterated that only Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob could make the final decision on her Cabinet post in response to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) wanting to take the portfolio back.

On retaining her Ampang parliamentary seat, Zuraida said she was hopeful but it depended on the decision of her new party.
