Zeti: No comment yet on red-flagging Najib’s RM2.6bil

Due to the ongoing investigation into 1MDB, former Bank Negara Malaysia governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz on Tuesday declined to comment on a claim made by ex-PM Datuk Seri Najib Razak during an interview with Malaysiakini that she knew about the RM2.6bil deposited into his bank account before the 2013 general election and did not raise questions about it. She however told reporters that they will get a comment “at some point”.
