Zamri denies receiving police notice

Independent preacher Muhammad Zamri Vinoth Kalimuthu's lawyer said his client was free to travel abroad.
Speaking to reporters at the Kuala Lumpur courthouse after his client was charged on Tuesday (March 17) Muhammad Hariz Md Yusoff said Zamri had never been served with a notice requiring him to report to the police.
Earlier, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail on March 13 had alleged that Zamri and another individual had fled to Thailand, and that police were working with their Thai counterparts to track them down.
