Zakir Naik still in Bukit Aman even after nine hours of questioning

Controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik was in Bukit Aman for more than 9 hours on Monday for police questioning.

He entered the police station around 3.15pm and as of 12.30am is still in the federal police headquarters.

Bernama reported that Zakir, 54, left at 1.30am on Tuesday in a Toyota Innova.

According to CID director Datuk Huzir Mohamed, the preacher was being probed under Section 504 of the Penal Code for intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of the peace.
