Zahid urges GAPENA to use new media for producing art and cultural content

The Federation of Malaysian National Writers Associations (GAPENA) has been advised to embrace new media platforms like social media to share cultural, literary and artistic content, as these platforms have increasingly taken over the role of mainstream media.

After inaugurating the Rumah GAPENA Complex and attending GAPENA's Aidilfitri celebration on Sunday (May 5), Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi stated that the government will support GAPENA in securing permanent land ownership, enabling the organisation to continue its work in literature, art, culture, and promoting the national language.
