Zahid unveils three strategic TVET initiatives to boost rural youth careers

The Rural and Regional Development Ministry has introduced three TVET initiatives to improve graduates’ employability, help rural youths establish technical businesses and develop AI-driven solutions for rural entrepreneurs.

Speaking when officiating at the Expo TVET@KKDW 2026 on Sunday (Oct 25), Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the programmes would be implemented in phases, alongside efforts to prepare TVET institutions for emerging technologies, including quantum technology.
