Zahid: Credit card payment using foundation funds was a mistake

Newly-elected Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi explained to reporters at the MACC headquarters on Tuesday that the funds taken from Yayasan Akal Budi to pay off his credit cards in 2016 was a mistake and upon realising the error, the former deputy prime minister claimed he reimbursed the fund using his personal money.
